Because we knew that we were going to be moving right around the time of Ian's 6th birthday, we decided to throw a big birthday/going away bash in March, right before we left California. We rented one of those huge blow up slides, and invited everyone we knew. It was a blast. The kids thoroughly enjoyed the slide (as did some of the adults) and the party was a huge hit.
It was so great to see all of our friends before we moved and it was really hard to leave such a great group of people.

Kenya actually did a good job of avoiding the camera somehow. But here is one a the very few we got.
