I've been itching for a puppy for months. It's been killing me. But Brian said we couldn't get one till the fall. So I waited... and waited.
We got home on Thursday from our Vegas excursion. Friday I was on the KSL Classifieds looking at puppies. I was puppy hungry. I found the most adorable puppies online and begged Brian to get us one or two.
He came home from work and agreed we could get a puppy but was concerned about getting two right now. He'd read an article stating that two pups the same age can have some very difficult aggressive problems toward each other as they grow. I thought he was being silly, so we got two.
The light brown pup is Enzo, an Australian Shepherd / Blue Heeler mix.
The black Pup is Ash, a Blue Heeler / Lab mix.
I should have listened to Brian, but I'm too stubborn. He's usually right and I usually regret not listening. Silly me. When will I ever learn.
You're probably wondering what I'm talking about. I let you in on the story.
We brought Ash and Enzo home the same day. They were so stinking cute and we loved having them in our home. Ash was much smaller than Enzo, but she seemed to hold her own just fine when they were playing.
A few days after we brought them home we realized that Ash was being super aggressive toward Enzo, biting him, pushing him around, and Enzo was actually running away from her scared. I didn't like what I was seeing, so Ash was given to a nice family.
Now it's just Enzo, but we'll get another pup soon enough. I was sad to let go of Ash, but I couldn't handle seeing her hurt Enzo. Totally not cool. We sure enjoy our little Enzo though.
